Dodge brand launched a multimedia marketing campaign across social media, digital and broadcast channels announcing the arrival of the all-new Dodge Hornet. The campaign includes a ninety-second “Swarming the Nation” video launched on the brand’s social media platforms to promote the word and create a buzz about the coming swarm.
The Dodge brand employs prominent Instagram and TikTok influencers, many featured in the concluding social media content and broadcast spot. The Dodge Hornet remains true to the Dodge brand and dominates as the fastest and the most powerful compact-utility vehicle (CUV). The Dodge Hornet GT and Hornet R/T performance hybrid set new levels of dynamic performance features for the CUV segment.
Dodge brand has always engineered its crossovers with V8 engines but changed the game in the sub-compact SUV segment with the new performance-focused plug-in hybrid. The Dodge Hornet is the brand’s first plug-in hybrid featuring standard Brembo four-piston fixed front calipers. Also, the Track Pack featuring upgraded dampers, 20-inch wheels, and unique styling appointments, is a common feature on all Hornet models.
As the standard option, the Dodge Hornet GT model features a turbocharged 2.0-liter I-4 delivering 268 hp and 295 lb.-ft of torque. When paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, it goes from 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds. On the other hand, the Hornet R/T PHEV offers a 1.3-liter I-4, six-speed automatic with a 121-horsepower motor mounted on the rear axle. This engine combination delivers 288 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque.
