Ram introduced the brand’s first available fully electrified vehicle, the Ram ProMaster Electric Van. It symbolizes the brand’s next step in its journey to offer buyers the industry’s best options. The Ram brand offers this latest eco-friendly innovation in two mission-specific configurations: the delivery model and two cargo models.
The Ram brand effectively meets real-world demands with the new ProMaster Van, delivering everything van buyers want and need. The ProMaster EV offers remarkable cargo-handling capability with 524 cubic feet of cargo space. It also features a best-in-class interior cargo height of 86 inches and low load-floor height.
The Ram ProMaster is a game-changer that delivers zero-emission performance, cutting-edge technology, and commercial capability. Ram built the ProMaster EV with a unibody design that efficiently incorporates the battery pack at the vehicle’s center. The Ram ProMaster EV features a 200-kW electric drive module (EDM) that produces 268 hp 302 lb.-ft of torque. It also has standard front-wheel drive and an Electric Parking Brake with fewer mechanical components.
The ProMaster EV is available with a Crew Van Package that accommodates up to six total people and includes a comfortable bench seat for three passengers. Ram offers three cargo options for the ProMaster EV, including 9 feet, 7 feet, or 6 feet of cargo space behind a partition. The rear seat of the ProMaster also has a space beneath it for loading items about 13 feet long and 6 inches high.
Ram equipped the ProMaster EV with an array of safety, security, and advanced technology, including Drowsiness Detection, a push-button starter, cornering function fog lamps, Full-speed Forward Collision warning, post-collision braking, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
